About the artist

Daria Elshiner’s artistic journey began on the other side of the creative spectrum, where she ran and managed public relations campaigns for artists and international cultural institutions. Based in London, UK, she worked with British and international galleries and artists, and collaborated with established organisations like the Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art, Cannes Film Festival, and Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, among others. As time went on however, Daria felt an irresistible pull towards the act of creation itself. Her passion for art gradually took precedence, leading her to transition from promoting the arts to producing her own.

Largely self-taught and self-educated within the classical traditions of art, Daria Elshiner embraces a diverse range of mediums. Her repertoire includes both traditional forms — such as oil on canvas and works on paper — and contemporary digital art. Drawing inspiration from the masterful techniques of Michelangelo, Lord Frederick Leighton, John Singer Sargent, and John William Godward, Daria’s work is deeply rooted in the exploration of the human form.
