About the artist
Pamela Becker has been an artist for as long as she can remember. The decades spent practicing dance, movement arts and yoga, were just a better comprehension of the human body which she loves to paint. “I have always enjoyed making special experiences for people. Theatre, events, performances, poetry- inspiring a glimpse of potential beyond belief or expectations. Now I do it with painting. I seek to open hearts and minds to a beautiful, spacious moment. What happens in the process of making art is bringing the unknown to the known.” In her four decades of working as a freelance artist, she has illustrated dozens of children’s books, had three lines of her own greeting cards, and was a Disney and Warner Brothers’ approved artist.
In 2014, she decided to commit to her fine art career by opening Big Vision Arts, a lovely creekside Sedona location to gaze out upon the giant sycamores and gurgling ravens and to find her voice as a painter.
Her fine art originals have been featured in shows throughout the U.S. Southwest, east coast and California. Pamela’s originals and reproductions enjoy a loyal collector base internationally.

In Pamela Becker’s art, the theme of women in nature resonates deeply, reflecting the intrinsic connection between femininity and the natural world. To her, the essence of both embodies mystery, power, and magic—qualities that echo through the landscapes we all traverse. The earth serves as a source of profound comfort and also an invitation to be present in the moment.
Pamela strives to portray women as they truly see themselves: vibrant, loving, innovative, powerful, creative, and undeniably beautiful. Each portrait she creates acts as a narrative, weaving in symbolism and ancient archetypes that speak to the shared experiences of life.
