About the artist
Lillian Liu is a self taught, award-winning and published creative photographer who utilizes digital techniques to create unique atmospheres in her work. She is a part of the humanitarian artistic collective Free Spirit, headquartered in Paris, as of 2016.

She is also shortlisted in the National Gallery (London, UK) NG200 Creators list. She is also a finalist of the 2019 Beautiful Bizarre Magazine and Stocksy Photography Award. She has also shot winning editorials for the 30th Contessa Hair Awards hosted by Salon Magazine, with stylist Freddy Sim.
Lillian Liu is also representing Team Canada in the 2023 World Photographic Cup for illustrative portraiture.
Lillian has been showcased in galleries such as Javits Center, Surrey Art Gallery, Place Des Artes, Vancouver Convention Center, Arch Enemy Arts Gallery, Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery, and on SevensGrant as curated by Paris Hilton, and on Times Square billboards. She has also lectured or given presentations and classes, such as for the Canadian Imaging Conference and Expo and for Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences. She has tutorials through Domestika. Lillian’s sponsorships include Adobe, Nanlite, Elinchrom, Lume Cube, PMI Gear, and more.
Lillian is on the jury panel for the European Photography Awards and the London Photography Awards from IAA. Lillian has also collaborated with The Colour Lab to release her own set of colour-toning actions in the Fairytale Collection.
Lillian holds a Master’s degree in classical piano performance from the Royal College of Music in London, UK, and is inspired to create art in many forms.
