Influenced by surrealism and conceptualism, Matt Walford’s work is a continuous study of the possibilities of ideas turned into creatively playful images. With a strong emphasis on the deconstruction and reconstruction of Nature. Often using traditional photographic methods or using flatbed scanners to create his work. His work always revolves around something in the natural world that is then modified in some way to convey a particular meaning or aesthetic.
