About the artist
Amahi Mori is a Japan based artist born in 1988, she mainly draws using pencils and her main motif has been consistently the female bodies, plants, and insects. She also loves to illustrate women figures fused with plants, insects, and animals, whose facial information is withheld, becomes anonymous, existing only as a vessel of life.
Artwork Themes & Subject Matter
Amahi Mori’s illustrations are inspired by the Cycle of Life which shows growth, change, and transformation. She also gets her inspiration from her dreams that reflects the passion of life. Amahi’s subjects are figure of people, butterflies and leaf veins.
