About the artist
Nandrysha’s work as a visual artist unfolds through a continuous and sensitive process of transfiguration, rooted in her fascination with the nature of being and the condition of human imperfection. Her practice is driven by an exploration of personal reflections, emotions and inner conflicts as universal as passion, anguish, repression, melancholy, and fear.
These forces compel her to distort human faces and intervene in images with deliberate provocation, evoking reactions that range from fear and rejection to fascination. Ultimately, it is the viewer who completes the work, arriving at their own aesthetic experience through this charged encounter.
Artwork Themes & Subject Matter
Each of Nandrysha’s pieces emerges through a process of personal transformation, a delirious yet deliberate decomposition shaped by deep artistic intervention. Her practice draws on reconstruction techniques such as sculpture, oil painting, character design, and related methods, allowing forms to be dismantled and reassembled. Through this layered approach, her works evolve into complex visual experiences where fragmentation becomes a means of renewal and expression.
