Jennifer Allnutt

Jennifer Allnutt is an artist based in Brisbane, Australia. She graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Visual Arts (First Class Honours) in 2011 and a Master of Teaching in 2016. She has been a finalist in the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize (2024) and was the winner of the Lethbridge Small Scale Art Award in 2024. Her work has been exhibited around Australia, the US and New Zealand.

Jennifer Allnutt’s artistic practice is best characterized by dark romanticism and figurative surrealism in traditional oil painting. The works oscillate on the line between realism and illusionism. Finding inspiration in poetry, Jungian psychology, mythology, literature, philosophy and personal experiences, Jennifer constructs compositions that act as carriers for her internal musings.

Through the process of juxtaposing subject matter such as death with romance, wonder with fear and the awe inherent in the sublime, Jennifer links these polarities into a dark divergence. These strange pairings fuel the sense of the uncanny found within the work. Her use of juxtaposition is deliberate to examine the divisions and fluidity between mind/body, man/nature, reality/representation and good versus evil.

Karin Hauck

Painting | Germany

Karin Hauck is a self-taught artist whose dedicated journey in painting began in 2016 after completing a course in the techniques of the Old Masters. Since then, she has continually developed her practice through extensive study and museum visits, drawing inspiration from renowned artists such as Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci, Jan van Eyck, Johannes Vermeer, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, Hippolyte Flandrin, and William-Adolphe Bouguereau. Their mastery of technique, light, and human expression continues to influence her evolving artistic vision.

Rooted in years of exploring philosophy and psychology, Hauck’s work serves as a visual language for expressing ideas and emotions that often cannot be conveyed through words alone. Through her paintings, she reflects on themes such as unity, timelessness, and the complexities of human experience, often inspired by meaningful moments in her own life and by individuals who have left a lasting impression on her. Her art invites viewers into a contemplative space where thought, feeling, and imagination intersect.

Victor Wang

Painting | United States

Victor Wang is a Chinese American artist based in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his BFA from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in China and his MFA from Fontbonne University in the United States, where he now serves as a full professor teaching painting, drawing, and graduate critique courses. Throughout his career, Wang has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally, earning recognition for excellence in painting and art education.

At the heart of Victor’s practice is a deep exploration of the human experience. His figurative paintings capture the emotional and psychological complexities of life, drawing on themes of nostalgia, harmony, passion, sorrow, and joy. Often inspired by childhood memories and personal experiences, his works unfold as visual narratives that revisit recurring stories and emotions. Through a distinctive technique that pairs richly textured impasto with transparent layers of shadow, Wang creates paintings that are both physically dynamic and emotionally resonant.

Kristen Eisenbraun

Kristen Eisenbraun is an oil painter living in the mountains of North Carolina. Her world revolves around art and nature; to her the two are intertwined. She has been creating art for as long as she can remember. After pursuing other avenues while journeying through life such as ranch hand and car mechanic, Kristen always returned to her art. In 2017 she moved to New York City to improve her ability as a figurative artist and advance her career. She studied at New York Academy of Art and Grand Central Atelier. Since then, she has exhibited all across the US as well as Europe. Kristen’s artwork is garnering more excitement and recognition as time goes on.

Kristen Eisenbraun paints the human spirit, sometimes in portraiture and sometimes in surreal landscapes. Her work experiments with the relationship and interaction between the human figure and the natural world. She uses subtle nuances of light and color to capture the hidden magic all around us and expresses all the different moods of nature, from a dark pensive forest to a sparkling field of light. The people that Kristen chooses to paint range from very young to very old. All of her subjects have an unusual beauty, outside the norms of a conventional definition of the word “beautiful”.

A new project is in the works that involves creating her magical paintings on the faces of unwanted musical instruments. This unique substrate adds an extra note to already breathtaking artwork. The project repurposes discarded and “broken” instruments so they can continue to inspire audiences.
