Natasha Zraikat is a Gold Coast (Yugambeh Country) based artist uses a carefully constructed aesthetic vocabulary of fantastical elements and deliberately executed realism to visually rekindle man’s connection with the natural world. Born in California to Jordanian and Russian-Ukrainian parents, Natasha immigrated to Australia in 1990 where she has lived ever since.
Rocio Villanueva is an Italian-Guatemalan photographer and artist based in Guatemala City. From a very early age artistic expressions have been engraved in her consciousness, through drawing, painting, photography and art appreciation with the help of her great-uncle, who introduced her by chance in this world of art.
J L King was raised in a large family with a strong reverence for the arts. Watching her father’s performances on stage, and accompanying her mother to her art classes at San Francisco’s City College are some of J L’s earliest exposures to the art world which left long lasting impressions. As J L pursued a career in health and science while raising a family, she maintained her creative practice in different mediums before committing her focus to oil painting. Primarily self-taught, sharp-focus detail is a lifelong endeavor that she pursue to this day. J L King currently practises art from her studio in the SOMA neighbourhood of San Francisco, California.
Stephanie Rew works in Edinburgh, Scotland and has been based in the same studio for over 20 years. Painting in the figurative realist style Stephanie creates oil paintings with gold leaf, combining traditional Early Renaissance gilding techniques with more contemporary ways of painting.
Nicolas Bruno studied at Purchase College of New York, where he received his BFA in Photography in 2015. His studio practice is based in Northport, New York, where he photographs and fabricates props for his compositions. Bruno exhibits his artworks internationally and engages in public speaking events to spread awareness of Sleep Paralysis. He also engages with local and international school districts to inspire young students to use art as a therapy. Bruno has been featured in various video documentaries that offer a behind the scenes look at his creative process. Bruno is an advocate for environmental conservation, art education, and mental health awareness.
Nico Pearleyes is a French artist, illustrator and graphic designer based in the Paris area. Nico's work reflects this deep and mystical questioning on the nature of reality and on the relationship between what is unknown (but still exists in our consciousness), what is known, and our power to “reshape” reality by looking at it with new eyes.
Besides having opposable thumbs Richard A Williams have been an illustrator for many years working for many well-known publishers, and companies. After leaving that field he dabbled in portraiture for a while working for major portrait companies in the U.S. Later he developed a desire to teach and with the help of “low friends in high places” was able leapfrog from an associate’s degree in humanities to a master’s degree in Illustration and entered the education arena.
Hilary Martin of Alchemy of the Pen is a New Jersey native and a self-taught artist who has taken this concept and flipped it on its head. Her work is known for combining imagery that often contradicts, yet melds effortlessly, in a way that encourages pause and to search for a deeper understanding. After a decade-long hiatus from the art world, she picked up a pen once more while living abroad as a means of therapy to counter mental health issues and subsequently rekindled a lost passion. From watercolor and pen illustrations to oil paintings, Hilary aims to highlight the ever-present beauty that is a constant even in the darkest times.
Saskia Huitema (1975) is a self taught Dutch acrylic painter who lives in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Her passion for painting started at a later stage in life and her art has evolved ever since. Saskia’s work is recognizable by the use of color, crisp details, and narrative content. Saskia has exhibited her paintings at galleries, museums and other venues since 2015. In 2020 she started creating work for @78 Tarot and joined the international Star Dust Art Collective. Her paintings have been adopted by collectors both nationally and internationally.
Alessandra Maria was born in 1989 in Seattle Washington, and resides in the Hudson Valley, New York. She graduated from Pratt Institute in 2012, and is represented by Galerie Fledermaus in Chicago.
An artist of multiple disciplines living in Scotland, Noar Lee Naggan has worked in animation, graphic design, web design, and illustration. Chiefly interested in telling stories through his art, Noar aspires to one day write his own books and illustrate them. Born (1994) and raised on Chicago’s Southside, Kayla Mahaffey grew up learning to appreciate the charm and soul of her city. The world around her showed how beauty still coexists between the grittiness of our society and how the line between whimsy and reality blurs from time to time.
