Born (1994) and raised on Chicago’s Southside, Kayla Mahaffey grew up learning to appreciate the charm and soul of her city. The world around her showed how beauty still coexists between the grittiness of our society and how the line between whimsy and reality blurs from time to time.
Jason Mowry grew up between the local art museum and comic book shops, combining the rhythms of each walking the line between formal art and the fantastic space. Jason has paintings exhibited Nationwide as well as internationally in many fine galleries. Jason calls Ohio home, where he keeps a studio and teaches at a local art college. After a decade-long hiatus from the art world, she picked up a pen once more while living abroad as a means of therapy to counter mental health issues and subsequently rekindled a lost passion. Annie Stegg Gerard is an oil painter who lives in Northern Georgia in the United States. Her art career began at 7 years old, when she had first art show at her school. Since then, she has never stopped painting and has worked for clients across the world. Zheng Liu, known by the pen name Kuang Chu, is a cross-border, cross-disciplinary artist. His artwork has been exhibited in Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu, China, New York State, and Los Angeles, U.S.A. He is now based in Los Angeles, Beijing and Chengdu. Currently, Kuang Chu's main focus is on his "Red Balloon" digital drawing series. This series has been exhibited and sold in galleries as printmaking artwork.
Farzad Golpayegani is a US based visual art artist and musician. He has produced and released over nine solo music albums, has exhibited his painting and drawings since 1999, and simultaneously has built a career as an art director. The style of Farzad’s drawings and paintings are close to Surrealism and Expressionism. His subjects are dreamlike, whimsical, and psychological. Theo Polymorphos is a North American painter of imaginative realism, whose art explores the mysterious journey of the soul, exploring themes of ecstasy, initiation and metamorphosis. Taking a deeply personal approach, he builds on these themes with symbols and motifs from his own dreams, spiritual practices and natural environment. After a decade wandering the globe as a consultant, he rekindled his childhood love of drawing and painting and quickly became obsessed. The confidence gained from learning traditional drawing and painting methods unlocked the door to his imagination, catalysing a total reorientation in life. He recently completed a three year course in imaginative realism under Tenaya Sims at the Georgetown Atelier in Seattle, Washington. He currently resides in Central Florida where he continues to develop his portfolio.
Noah Norrid is a self-taught artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Having been an English and Design teacher for more than 20 years, ton-Emil? (Do You Dare, Anton-Emil?) His current body of work is the culmination of both his extensive interests in natural history, literature, mythological and religious symbolism as well as his near pathological interest in painting with watercolor and obsessing about details. Particularly the details that bring his subjects to life.
Sara Lee is an artist and graphic designer based in New York City. Her style combines her professional graphic design background with her classical fine art training. Following graduation and working over a decade in commercial art, Sara found herself drawing less and less. Her motivation to draw was reignited after discovering Procreate. Sara presently works in television as a motion graphics designer while pursuing her art independently.
